Despite being American, and having no Russian heritage, I've always liked the name Sputnik,
and have gone by Sputnik5 or SputnikFive online for decades.
I have enjoyed playing and programming video games since I got my first 8-bit computer, an Atari 400, back in the early 80's.
I hold a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics, and have been a professional software developer for nearly 30 years.
Most recently, I've been creating mobile and cross-platform games in Unity and Construct 3, and native iOS and macOS apps in Xcode.
For the majority of my career, I've been an independent consultant, but have been working towards becoming an independent game developer.
